View. | | Chelan Valley Cyclists is made up of a number of Lake
Chelan Valley residents who love to ride, whether riding be on pavement or dirt.
The idea of forming a club came out of a desire to enjoy the sport of bicycling
with other people. Beyond that, organizers realized that many opportunities are
available to expand and develop new trails in the area by working with local
agencies like the U.S. Forest Service, Washington State Department of Fish and
Wildlife, Department of Natural Resources and Chelan County Public Utility
District. Chelan Valley Cyclists is made up of a diverse group of people from
nine to 60 years old. Since its inception, it has begun developing a Mountain
Bike Racing Team, is working with the Chelan Ranger District on Echo Ridge trail
expansion and looking into developing a group of committees interested in
promoting the sport of bicycling.
